We affirm that the sole authority of our faith and practice is the Holy Bible which is the inspired Word of God. We further state as the Scriptures teach that there is one and only one living and true God, the Creator, Sustainer of life, who reveals Himself as the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Christ is the eternal Son of God, virgin born, lived a sinless life, crucified on the cross to make provision for our sins, resurrected from the dead, ascended to heaven, and will return to judge the world. The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of God. He enables us to understand truth, exalt Christ, convict of sin, and call people to the Savior and effect regeneration. We believe that salvation is offered freely to all who accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior through their repentance and faith and that the salvation experience is permanent. Both heaven and hell are literal.

The church is a local body of baptized believers who are associated through a conversion experience, observing the two ordinances: Baptism, the immersion of a believer in water as an act of obedience symbolizing the believer's salvation experience; and the Lord's Supper, a symbolic act of obedience whereby believers memorialize the death of Christ.

We hold the Biblical views of marriage as being between one man and one woman. And we affirm that all sexual behaviour outside of marriage is sinful. But we recognize that all people, regardless of race or sexual orientation are created in the image of God and are due respect and love. We also affirm that all are welcome to our services.

There are other doctrines and beliefs that we hold according to the teaching of scripture, but which are recognized in our soul's competency before God, and the priesthood of believers. We adhere to the Baptist Faith and Message, as adopted by the Southern Baptist Convention in 2000 and all additions to such Statement since 2000.
